Even in literature and art, no man who bothers about originality will ever be original: whereas if you simply try to tell the truth (without caring twopence how often it has been told before) you will, nine times out of ten, become original without ever having noticed it. – C. S. Lewis (1898 - 1963)
For the longest time, I did not wish to share my writing for the very reason that I did not consider it to be original. Everything seemed to have been said before. However, with the help of good and wise friends, I've come to understand the deep truth contained in C.S. Lewis' words quoted above. So, finally, I'm ready to offer my written words to you in the hope that they may engage you in a meaningful way.
I encourage you to share your thoughts and feedback with me via email contact. You might also consider posting a response to my blog entries, which are inspirational and practical articles, directly on Martina's Musings site where I publish my blog writing.
Enjoy the selection that's ready for you so far. I promise I will continue to expand it. Edwin Schlossberg says, "The skill of writing is to create a context in which other people can think." My ardent wish is that I'm not only providing a context for you in which you can think, but also one in which you can open yourself up to whatever emerges from within, one in which your heart speaks, and one where you can allow yourself to simply BE.
